Job description

What we're looking for

We're looking for a mid-level product manager to support our product research and scoping efforts, and help build a robust product process and data that will shape MoneyHash for years to come. Our ideal candidate is a true product owner - someone who can help shape the markets we approach and products we build. You will have the opportunity to learn about and engage with the entire payment and fintech ecosystem in emerging markets as well as contribute to shaping the vision and direction of MoneyHash.

Aside from your role and responsibilities, our entire team helps shape MoneyHash's company vision and culture. Our team members should always show:

  • Respect. We are a global team - we value the diversity of humanity and seek the good in people. We expect you to be empathetic and cultivate respectful relationships with others.
  • Humility: We welcome open discussion and candid feedback, and expect all candidates to arrive ego-free and with a commitment to better themselves and others.
  • Flexibility: Being comfortable with fast-paced working environments is a must. We seek a highly motivated self-starter that can quickly get up to speed and rise to any challenge.
  • Willingness to learn: We search for champions of learning with a growth mindset. Mistakes are celebrated and part of our road to success.

What you'll be doing

  • Work across product development from conception to launch and beyond, including:
    • Evaluating markets and customer bases as part of product strategy
    • Making data- and customer-driven prioritization and roadmapping decisions
    • Working with design and engineering to create simple, elegant products
    • Working with sales, marketing, and customer success on go-to-market strategy
    • Conducting user research and testing, and ensuring information is disseminated org-wide
    • Work with engineering to ensure a smooth launch
    • Monitoring post-launch performance and iterating based on metrics, customer feedback, and business needs
  • Work cross-functionally and serve as a bridge between technical and business teams
  • Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to assess value, dependencies, and feasibility of product initiatives
  • Help build a robust, process-driven, inclusive product organization

Compensation package

Competitive salary - equity - health insurance - professional development stipend - wellness stipend

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, particularly in prioritization, sprint planning, and cross-functional consensus-building
  • Highly Preferred: Experience within the SaaS, fintech, or payment sectors, with a particular emphasis on payment integrations and cross-border transactions.
  • Bonus: In-depth understanding of technical integrations & APIs, or working in solution design
  • Metrics-driven mindset
  • Flexibility and willingness to wear multiple hats
  • High degree of customer empathy
  • Excellent research and learning skills, with a working knowledge of business strategy
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical customers and stakeholders
